Pricing
Bild publishes tier prices, which is more transparent than most PLM vendors. What it doesn't publish is a self-serve way to act on that pricing.
Bild
Basic runs $600/month billed annually ($750/month billed quarterly) and covers version control, part numbering, metadata, link sharing, and a 3D viewer with 100GB storage. Professional runs $1,500/month annually ($1,850/month quarterly) and adds BOM management, change orders, approval workflows, supplier collaboration, SSO, ITAR-relevant compliance features, and API access. Enterprise is custom-quoted. Neither tier discloses a seat count for the base price; additional users are pro-rated.

Pricing is on the pricing page. The free plan is permanent: 1 user, up to 3 BOMs, no time limit. The Team plan is $50/month for 10 named seats ($500/year), with full BOM management and ECO workflow included, no separate tier required.
Getting started
This is where the two products diverge most sharply.
Bild
Both the “Sign Up” link and the pricing page CTA on getbild.com route to a contact form. The instructions are explicit: fill out the form, then select a time to talk with the Bild team. There is no path to create an account and start using the product without that conversation. Bild's own homepage claims a 3-10 day go-live once a plan is purchased, but that timeline only starts after the sales process, not before it.

ECO depth and CAD coverage
Give Bild credit where it's due: its ECO workflow, available from the Professional tier up, is a real, multi-stage system. Approvals can be assigned by department, made required or optional, and viewer-level users can participate without edit rights. Child parts can be bulk-included in a change and auto-revved on release, files under review are locked against editing, and ECOs can be created automatically from rules. That's a mature engine, not a bolt-on feature.
Where the gap shows up is CAD coverage on the electrical side. Bild's published integration list covers mechanical tools broadly: SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, Siemens NX, Inventor, Solid Edge, Autodesk Revit. On the electrical side, the only named tool is Altium, with no documented support for KiCad or Eagle.
